Baby Bird Lactation Services is family-owned and operated in Vermont

 

Kristen Bird worked as a maternal-newborn nurse at Fletcher Allen Health Care for six years.  During her time working with parents and newborns, she discovered her passion for breastfeeding.  In 2009, she became an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant and began assisting families to successfully meet their breastfeeding goals.  In 2011, she launched Baby Bird Lactation Services and started seeing families in the comfort of their homes.  She now continues to work as a private IBCLC while also working as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Lactation Consultant at Timber Lane Pediatrics in Burlington, VT.  

 

Kristen strives to include both parents in the learning curve of breastfeeding and tailors each consult to meet the family's personal breastfeeding goals.
